Slowly but surely!

Yes, its been a long time since the last post! I have finished my class and now have a little bit more time on my hands than before. We have 2 very exciting tid bits to share. First, Ellie is now the proud momma of 3 baby kittens (who i believe are ALL spoken for)! Second, our family is expecting another new addition October 24, 2008! I am almost 10 weeks along and feeling pretty good. I had a terrible sinus infection over Easter weekend but with 2 days of nothing but sleeping and sudafed I believe I am cured! Believe it or not we are still living out of some boxes! So being sick put all the house work and Sadie sitting on Skip...I must say...he handled it well! Today I finally got rid of 3 more boxes and unpacked some stuff. We have soooo much junk. I feel bad throwing some things away but I know I have to. We have to make room for more stuff! The house is slowly but surely coming along and the routine is slowly being created every day. Everyone loves a good routine! Especially me! I have Easter pics but I cant find my camera at the moment! When I find it I will post ASAP! Until then...

"I cooking..."

Here is the queen "cooking" in her kitchen. She tool my red potatoes in the bowl and put them in her oven. She said, "Mommy, look, I cooking!" And then she moved on and forgot about them until Jager was hungry and started gnawing on them!!

Well, we have almost all had the "cold" this has been going around. I now have the cold and Aana is recovering from the second round of her cold as is Meme. Skip and Sadie seem to be fine and I am confined to the bedroom. Nothing really I can take but the doc gave some amoxicillin so hopefully that will help get this junk out of my system. My fever is going up and down and has been all day! This afternoon I was 101 and extremely tired even though i slept all day long Ernie by my side. Sadie went to Grumps today and then Jamie took her for awhile until Skip could pick her up. It was nice to be sick my myself and not have to worry about Sadie all day.

The Bernie and Phyls mover men came today with our new huge sectional couch and huge tv stand. I know have part of my sectional couch in the living room and the other part is in the garage. Yes, its in the garage waiting for the guys to remove the trim from the door so they can jam it in the living room. Skip was not happy but handled the situation well. Hes just a little grumpy because I picked out the furniture and he didnt. Sadie has already fallen off the rolling ottoman which didnt take long!

Any one want any kittens??? Skip and I are convinced that Ellie is pregnant again! I know...my fault...i need to get her spade ASAP! I will after this litter to prevent any other pregnancies in the future. So we have a ravenous pregnant cat and a moody Mommy. Poor Skip!!!

Things couldnt be better...

We moved last week into our new home! 4 bedrooms 2 bathrooms a large living room with a fireplace, a mudroom with a woodstove and a cute little dining room that i cant wait to paint! My February vacation wasnt quite as peaceful as I would have liked it to be but I got a lot accomplished! I ordered a new huge couch the other day...thought Skip was going to kill me! And bought a cute dining room table and a desk for the computer. I spent about $200 at the Christmas Tree Shop the other day and I got sooo much stuff! Curtain rods, one curtain for the kitchen, a huge rug for the living room, a doormat, and Easter stuff for Sadie. Love that place! Glad I dont go there often! Its crazy how much stuff we have to still unpack but each day Skip and I go through a few boxes. Its tough with Sadie now because all she wants is our attention which we LOVE but its so hard to get things done! Thank god for On DEMAND tv!

So much has happened in such a short period of time! I will write more this week about other exciting news we have...so come back again for new pics of the house and other tidbits just might pop up too!

All at once...

We are officially new homeowners! We move in this weekend to our cute four bedroom home in Byfield, MA. As soon as I get some pics I will post them for everyone to check out! We signed papers on Tuesday and hopefully will be completely moved in by Saturday!

Monday Sadie took a turn for the worse with her cold. She had this fever that just wouldnt break! After 8 hours in the emergency and 2 bags of fluids given to her through IV, she seemed to be on the mend until yesterday when she vomitted again. Its been crazy with the house and packing and taking care of a sick little girl. But, today seems much better and the fever didnt come back until tonight right before bed. She has double ear infections and a bronchial virus things that just attacked her! Poor little girl!

Jager is sore from playing too much this past weekend and he is limping around the house. Skip will have to take him to vet once we are settled. So, we've been hit all at once...

We all had dinner tonight at the Hart House in Ipswich for Sadie's Papa's birthday. She was unbelievably good! She asked Rose for ice cream very sweetly. She some of Aana's chicken and potatoes as well as asparagus. She lasted about 2 hours and then we had to go! But all in all, dinner went well! And the martinis were good too! Grandmother C. can attest to that!

OMG!

Dont know why I found this so shocking! This actor was sort out of the lime light and stayed pretty quiet! Shocking! Maybe because he was my age! I just think its so crazy that he is dead...from sleeping pills non the less! Check it out...
